About Mark Atchley |

|
Mark started his career in the graphic arts while in high school, with his first job making lead plates from national ad mats at the Aspen Times newspaper in Colorado. Add a camera to the mix and he won a national photo journalism award. Mark has also worked at newspapers in Wyoming and California.
He attended Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo where he majored in Printing with a concentration in Design, gaining real-world experience working in the prepress department at Blake Printery. After college he worked at design firms and advertising agencies, moving into sales of high-quality, full-color commercial printing for 13 years for printers in San Francisco and Los Angeles. |

Near the start of the desktop publishing revolution, Mark was a Macintosh trouble shooter for the creative community, and transitioned his career to creative services manager and web master for Light Source, a pioneering graphic arts software and hardware developer. From there he moved into product marketing for X-Rite, a color management hardware and software developer. |

Not to leave out the Internet, Mark was a web imaging evangelist for eColor's True Internet Color. He returned to the print world as product support manager and PDF software evangelist for Enfocus Software's PitStop products. Mark is now using his expertise and experience in helping his clients take advantage of new technology options available to the print and publishing industry. With an Adobe Certified Expert achievement in both InDesign and Acrobat his focus is on Adobe PDF and page layout applications and their repsective plug-ins.
